Pulse Medic – The who, what and why!
The Pulse Medic Heartmark is the heart of our brand, it is centre of all that we do. The mark itself is derived from the shapes of the heart and the lungs. As these are the life force that keep our bodies going, the Heartmark is at the core of Pulse Medic Services.
Some say ‘Those who can, do and those who can’t, teach”. In the case of Pulse Medic we do and we teach! This is what set’s us apart from other training providers. Pulse Medic workshops are delivered by qualified doctors, paramedics and nurses. The quality and depth of our training has seen us rise to be the UK’s leading provider of First Aid courses.
Saving lives is not a trivial matter and who is better to equip you with the knowledge you need to feel confident and capable than the people who are doing the same already, day after day in various healthcare settings. For those reasons Pulse Medic are honoured to have practicing medics as our cohort of trainers.
We don’t just offer first aid courses
Pulse Medic are largely known for our provision of first aid courses, however we are qualified to teach across the range of the medical spectrum including courses aimed at businesses, programmes specific to GPs and Dentists and an extensive curriculum for healthcare and childcare workers.
Time management is key in a health and social care industry that is under pressure to always do more. Subsequently Pulse Medic training is structured to be delivered at either a venue that is preferable to you or staff can attend any of the sessions that take place throughout the month at our training locations in London and at South Bank University. Alternatively there is the option to undertake some of the courses online and still benefit from the Pulse Medic experience.
Pulse Medic Profits go right back into the business
Pulse Medic are different in the way we operate. Any profits achieved are ploughed straight back into the organisation to help us achieve challenges which are outlined in our strategic plans. Funds raised by our active participation in training, consulting and research are pooled to together to support inclusion and better community/partnership working within healthcare. Work with the British Heart Foundation demonstrates our on going commitment to make a difference to communities.
