Resuscitation Guideline Change 2015 CPR

Following todays ILS course  heres the information requested. Very soon the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation  supported by the Resuscitation council will issue their guidelines for cardiopulmonary resuscitation CPR and emergency cardiac care. Usually, these two organizations are pretty closely aligned in the changes they propose.

The guidelines are based on a review process of all the available published research coupled with input from resuscitation experts from around the world.

ILCOR has an online public commenting process with the objective of providing transparent and rigorous treatment recommendations based on high-quality systematic evidence reviews. Comments on ILCOR systematic reviews can be made on their website.

ILS went really well thank you. Just to give some feedback, Martin the course trainer was brilliant. I have been on ILS courses before and have found the trainers to be a little full on and not really understand care giving and emergencies outside of acute NHS Hospital trusts. Martin understood the skills (and resources available) of nursing staff working in primary care in independent sectors and the situations that they may face.
